MEMORY

Where is our past, and how many of our memories are real? Memory brings together two sculptures: a broken plaster sphere and its intact double, recreated in augmented reality. The shards act as a marker: point your phone at them and the sphere reappears on screen as it once was, an image that no longer exists in the real world. The work invites you to compare past and present, to “touch” the unreal, and leaves one question open: is that really how it was?
